Reception Information

Welcome to Ivy Class

There are 29 Reception children in Ivy Class – 18 boys and 11 girls. Mrs Greaves is the class teacher and is supported by Miss Johnson. 

Ivy Class love listening to stories, being authors and making up their own stories too with the Tales Toolkit resources. We particularly enjoy books by Julia Donaldson because the children love to practise their rhyming skills. We often visit the library and have our dedicated time on a Tuesday. 

Outdoor learning plays an important part of our curriculum and is the perfect way to develop the children’s independence and provide them with the confidence to explore.  

Our Kixx sessions are on a Wednesday and our class PE is on a Thursday.
